  • Conference dinner on Saturday 16th July
  • Mixer drinks on Friday and Saturday
  • Morning/afternoon tea and lunch on Friday & Saturday

  • Breakfast
If you chose a hotel-style room at the resort (rather than a multi-share villa) breakfast for Saturday and Sunday will be included in the price of your accommodation. Those choosing Villa-style accommodation will be required to make their own breakfast arrangments or alternatively pay for breakfast in the hotel.

    Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will be held on Saturday night at Opal Cove Resort. In order to ensure all delegates can come along, the cost of the dinner has been included in the registration fee. Extra dinner tickets for non-registrants (includes 2 hour beverage package) are available at a cost of $65 per person.

    Accompanying Guests
In addition, accompanying guests are more than welcome to join us for other events on the social program including the BBQ, lunches and mixers. A small additional fee will apply and children can also be catered for at reasonable prices. Please contact us to make appropriate arrangements.

Please note that when submitting your abstract, you will be required to supply proof of registration (e.g. a payment receipt from Register Now). A hallmark of the East Coast Protein Meeting is that only PhD students and Postdoctoral researchers are considered for oral presentation. For this reason, more senior researchers are welcome and encouraged to register but are not permitted to submit abstracts for consideration.

This event is a joint initiative of the Sydney Protein Group and the Queensland Protein Group, who are both special interest groups of the ASBMB.
